PLAYERS TO WATCH
Burnley
All eyes will be on Robbie Blake at Turf Moor to see if the striker can repeat his goalscoring heroics
after hitting a spectacular winner against the champions in midweek.
The
33-year-old bagged nine goals for the Clarets last season, and with one
already in the bag, will be hoping to beat that tally in the top flight.
Everton
Louis Saha was the sole bright spot of Everton’s defeat to Arsenal, scoring their
only goal after arriving as a substitute in the second half.
The
Frenchman then went on to grab a brace in midweek in Europa League
action, and with three goals in two games looks to be in top form
heading to Turf Moor.
PREDICTION
The Clarets’
sensational win over the champions in midweek will have given the
newly-promoted side a huge confidence boost ahead of the visit of
Everton.
Despite last weekend’s humiliation to Arsenal and the
ongoing Lescott saga, the Toffees remain difficult opposition and may
just bring the home side back down to earth somewhat by bagging a
point.
