After victory at Liverpool, Aston Villa midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker branded talk of manager Martin O'Neill being under pressure as "ridiculous".
“It’s ridiculous,” said Reo-Coker. “I’m not going to stand here and lie.
“I’ve seen some of the comments and the quotes that have come out about us and the manager being under pressure.
“It’s two games into the season. It’s ridiculous to come out with such statements.
“Speaking from my experiences and what I’ve been through it really does not bother me.
“It’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon. We’ve got a long way to go and it’s way too early to start panicking. People have to stay in touch with reality, it’s as simple as that.”
