Liverpool loan Nemeth to Athens
Liverpool have sent Hungarian striker Krisztian Nemeth out on loan to Greek side AEK Athens.
The 20-year-old, who has yet to make a first team appearance for Rafael Benitez's side, has signed a contract with AEK until the end of the season.
"I am coming to a big club in a great city," the under-21 international said. "I hope we can win the championship."
Benitez signed Nemeth and compatriot Andras Simon in May 2007 after seeing them at the UEFA U17 championships.
Simon has been loaned out to Spanish club Cordoba CF for the rest of the season.
Nemeth scored 18 goals in 37 league games for MTK Hungarie and helped the club finish second in the Hungarian league in 2007.
Benitez has predicted a big future for the youngster who was involved in Liverpool's pre-season tours of Switzerland and Asia, netting two goals against Singapore last month.
His departure comes as Liverpool set about trying to recover from the loss of the two of their opening three league games.
AEK Athens finished second in the Greek league playoffs last season, missing out on qualification for the Champions League.
"The level of the Greek championship is good and I'm looking forward to it," said Nemeth.
The Reds signed Greece international defender Sotiris Kyrgiakos from AEK last week.

Sent Nementh out on loan at current situation is just amazing...good work from Rafa...gotta check flight details (1 way) for Rafa to Spain...use Ryan Air...no BA for him...

then he suprises us with the title in april
so i will write off their chances for the title and don't think about it for another year

nx comes Babbel, even though he really CMI at times..

why not dig around wif ur current resources & make it fulfill to its highest usage..

looks like rafa doesn't have a clue on how to integrate his young players into his first team setup... for the past few seasons it has been like, every young player he had is shipped out... no wonder there has been no youngsters coming through the ranks and rafa has to get funds to add to his squad... too bad the americans ain't his bitch

Spearing is sold already, u can confirm.
Ah Ben can only play one system with his players.
Most of the players are played out of position and do not have a option to play in the position that they know better.
Take Babel for example.
He is striker forced to be a winger.
Not every one is like puppy Kuyt, can swallow and change position.
I dun think Babel is that bad, he just need more match exposure.
I dunno why Ah Ben is hiding him so much.
Although Ah Ben got a lot of youth players, he keep them like gold and never really play them and in the end, they are sold.
Even with Reira's skill, he is not featured much this season.
Now, he have to loan out Nemeth to expose him.
Why not expose him in the EPL ?
Is the agenda for Ah Ben right ?

Spearing is not sold lah...he just signed a 3 year contract in July 2009, basically last month...
"Most of the players are played out of position " <-- Yes, that's why he likes those versatile and hard working players such as Barry & Johnson...Riera is injured.
Yes, Nemeth should be given more playing time in EPL. SAF trusted all his young players but Rafa can't.

rafa has sold some good young english players. guthrie, stephen warnock are examples. i wont be surprised if he sells spearing
