IT was the Little and Large Show at the Champions League draw.
The best players in Europe were honoured for their performances in last year's competition.
And the long and the short of it was that the Premier League's best are head and shoulders above the cream of La Liga... literally.
Manchester United's 6ft 5in stopper Edwin van der Sar was named Champions League goalkeeper of the year, while Chelsea's John Terry - measuring 6ft 2in - won the defender of the year award.
Barcelona's 5ft 7in pair of Xavi and Lionel Messi were named the best midfielder and forward respectively.
