Claudio Ranieri, the former Chelsea manager, is the new coach of Roma after Luciano Spalletti resigned following defeats in their opening two Serie A games.
Rome-born Ranieri, 57, had been out of work since being sacked by Juventus two games before the end of last season, when the club finished second behind Inter Milan.
Ranieri, a former Roma player, was Chelsea boss from 2000-04, guiding the club to second in the Premier League and the Champions League semi-final, but was replaced by Jose Mourinho as the Roman Abramovich revolution got into full swing.

Cos he got Chelsea and Juve on his CV mah... So no problem finding a new job lor. Somemore a big club like Roma and not some small ones like Palermo or Cagliari type...
Claudio Ranieri is thrilled to be named new coach of Roma.
Although he had initially rejected the offer from President Rosella Sensi, his lawyer confirmed a deal had been struck for a two-year contract.
“It is a great satisfaction for me, but above all the crowning moment of a dream and a professional journey started many years ago,” said the former Juventus and Chelsea Coach.
“I am honoured and convinced I can give my best for Roma, doing the best for this club.”

but he get the sack lol. I wonder if he will get the sack again if results do not go the way of the president of the club.

It doesn't matter if he got sack, other good managers have been sack before too... Like even Guus Hiddink was sack by Fenerbahce and even Real Madrid where he didn't last 1 full season... But does it make him a bad coach / manager?
Then there is Mourinho... is he a bad manager?
Whats important is, the big clubs still thinks he can do the job...
