Fergie eyeing Japan starlet

MANCHESTER UNITED boss Alex Ferguson is weighing up a bid for Japanese starlet Takayuki Morimoto.
The 21-year-old plays for Italian side Catania and is regarded as one of the best young players in his country.
Catania general manager Pietro Lo Monaco claims Fergie is a big admirer of Morimoto, whose playing style has been likened to Brazilian legend Ronaldo.
Lo Monaco hinted his club will cash in on Morimoto next summer and revealed they have already fielded offers from England and France for the youngster.
He said: "We'll transfer him to a big club at the end of the season. We, as a small club, can do nothing more for him.
"We've already received important offers from England and France this summer.
"Alex Ferguson highly rates him."
