Usain Bolt takes credit for United's victory at Wigan

The current world record holder for the 100m and 200m, Usain Bolt, reportedly called Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson on the eve of their Premier League clash with Wigan Athletic a few weeks ago, in order to ensure the Champions got back on track, following their humbling defeat to Burnley.
The World’s fastest man is an avid Manchester United fan, and has previously visited the squad at Carrington, but his influence over the side appears to know no bounds.
Bolt told BBC Sport: “I made a call to Alex telling him that losing
is not an option because I’ve been winning and he just talked to the
guys to let them know to get it done.”
“First of all I would like to say thank you guys for winning.”
“I’m really happy right now, it’s going to be a wonderful night for me.”
Bolt, who recently won double gold at the World Athletics Championships to go with his double Olympic gold in Beijing, also praised the increasingly influential Wayne Rooney.
Bolt continued: “Wayne Rooney’s a great guy, he’s going to lead us to the championship this year for sure.”
“He’s the leader his year and I think he’s going to do a wonderful job definitely”
