The Football Association of Thailand have demanded that Peter Reid makes known his intentions for the future.
President of the Thai FA, Worawi Makudi,
recently met with the experienced coach during a visit to Manchester as a guest of the Football Association
and insists promises made during those talks have since been broken.
"Peter told me that the Thai national team will be idle until November when they face Singapore home and away in the Asian Cup qualifying round. So he asked for permission to work with (Tony) Pulis for another two weeks," Makudi told the Bangkok Post
.
"I told him that this would mean he did not honour the promise he made at the Manchester restaurant. The FAT and the Thai fans want him to come back.
"I want a clear-cut answer. He cannot do two jobs at the same time. He must be Thailand's coach on a full-time basis."
Thailand are set to resume their Asian Cup qualifying campaign against Singapore on 14th November before playing the return fixture in Bangkok four days later.

Reid finished as Thailand national coach
Thailand on Wednesday formally terminated its contract with national football coach Peter Reid, who is set to take up an offer to serve as assistant at Stoke.
Football Association of Thailand chairman Worawi Makudi said the decision was made in consultation with former Sunderland and Manchester City boss Reid, who still has three years left on his contract.
"The Football Association of Thailand and Reid, who has shown his desire to work in the Premier League, have agreed to terminate the contract," Worawi said.
