Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admitted Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney showed Jermain Defoe who was top dog after last night's defeat at White Hart Lane.
Redknapp laughed when asked if Defoe is the league’s top predator.
“I’d say it’s Rooney,” he said. But he’s not an out-and-out scorer, came the reply.
Redknapp snorted. “He works his socks off, holds the ball up, dribbles and beats people, scores goals, tackles you twice as hard as anyone else and doesn’t stop running around,” Harry said. “What else are you supposed to do?”
