Arsene Wenger has hit back at Karl-Heinz Rummenigge's claims that the youngsters he brings to Arsenal amounts to "child trafficking".
Rummenigge claimed Arsenal sign "hosts" of players from France among other places in order to find the stars of the future.
Although Rummenigge's comments were made earlier this year, Wenger is still surprised by the nature and the strength of his argument.
"I am surprised about such an aggressive statement that has nothing to do with reality," the French tactician told Spiegel Magazine.
"We are only signing two, three players and if we are signing teenagers then we are handing them a real opportunity. You cannot say that about Bayern. I am well dismayed about such nonsense.
"What is going to happen if we are not allowed to sign Under-18 players any longer? There'll be an agent, with some from Africa or South America under contract, buying a small club in which these youngsters are going to play then. He then sells them as soon as they turn 18 years of age. The transfer money is going to end up in the agent's pocket from the club.
"The transfer money gained from the transfer is going to end up right in the pocket of that agent via the small club."
if the child of trafficking get paid well?
in football, they get paid pretty well, given opportunity to shine, stay in good accomodation.
why not ask the kid whether do they feel being trafficking?
crazy bayern. no wonder they end up buying players from other clubs these days.

oh. if they get paid well and given a lollipop and happy, it is okay huh...
i still think some controls should be in place to prevent big clubs coming in with suitcases of money and spiriting talented "kids".
maybe a minimum age before such transfers can take place..
well, i bet most country forbid contract of any nature of player under 16-18 years old.
if arsenal or any clubs come in go by the law, sign a player( qualify age by law) from the clubs who wanted to sell. i dont see any problems.
using trafficking is a harsh words. the players transfer with the consent of their parents, go by the law, paid to do training at clubs, opportunity to shine in the new clubs, potential for bigger future why not?
singapore sports council also recruit young players from china to play sports in singapore. we pay them, give them the opportunity to shine. does that also consider trafficking?

that why the german international team and clubs level are not goign anywhere. in fact it is on a downhill for more than decade.
ever notice no clubs sign young player from germany?
what germany has to do is to change it own law within the country to adjust and not asking the rest of the world to adjust so that they can compete with them.
