Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is chasing Sunderland defender Anton Ferdinand for the January market.
The Mirror says Tottenham’s promising start to the season is in danger of being wrecked by injuries to Jonathan Woodgate, Michael Dawson, Ledley King and Sebastien Bassong.
And Redknapp is now determined to land Sunderland stopper Ferdinand, 24, in the New Year.
Redknapp tried to get former West Ham trainee Ferdinand on transfer deadline day by offering a swap for Spurs’ right-back Alan Hutton
Ferdinand is very interested in a return to London to work with Redknapp, who nurtured his brother Rio at Upton Park.
And Sunderland are willing to do business if they can recoup the £8million they paid the Hammers in August 2008.
but the transfer will only come at Jan what....from till Jan still got sometime ;S
