his motto is not to lose, hence his negative tactics.
players like insua, lucas, aurelio, what are they doing in liverpool squad.
I wonder when will jjfdevil come in & taunt the scousers?

Sometimes, the way i see Liverpool play, the players that were bought into the squad, the players selected, the players sold,I do not consider Liverpool as serious title contender and i am inclined to side with my Man United friends who are always shooting Liverpool down.

Which part of sometimes do u not understand?
So what if we thrashed Man U?
It is still 3 points, not like u get 10 points for winning Man U.
And it is just one match.
So,any team winning Man U is considered title contender????

ok, i'm nt trying to bash any player or staff of LFC...today rafa has been out-smarted by ancelotti, his timing of bringing yossi and babel into the game is very late.. by then the match is more or less controlled by chelsea. next, torres is severely isolated, gerrard wasn't around to play off him, kuyt is being owned on the right, there was simply no support from either lucas or masherano.
For chelsea's 1st goal, it showed again the lack of support.. where was lucas when masherano was struggling with essien and lampard? he was simply ball watching, waiting for masherano to out-fight 2 super physical chelsea players and gt the ball to him, instead of trying to go nearer to masherano to help him out. evidently, this showed that for all the love he's getting from RB, he has shown to be a average player w/o any fighting spirit. It is also embarassing to see lucas being taken off for babel, n babel instantly gave ashley cole a run for his money..
For chelsea's 2nd goal, LFC's defenders couldn't cope with drogba's physical dominance. Carragher gave his best, bt it wasn't enuff. The reason is simple, RB chose to overlook drogba's physical dominance and over-estimated carragher's strength. This has to be solely RB's fault for not bringing a strong and relatively younger CB to cover carragher's ageing legs, someone in the mould of arsenal's vermaelan is the best candidate
Damn...i'm still couldn't get over how LFC get pawned in the midfield..
n to youyayu, nobody cares abt ur reaction to chelsea's goal.. it serves to make you look super immature..

did i?
go see jffdevil. and your beloved liverpool supporter undertaker.chris
see who taunt who more.
and which of those sentence is taunting?
i bloody hell thought chelsea would lose. but they win so i am dam surprise cause of the absence of petr cech.
and if i taunt liverpool fans all the time, i should open a big thread and put
LIVERPOO LOST AGAIN
can't chelsea supporters like me celebrate the win against liverpool A LITTLE??
i remember some idiots liverpool supporters went around boasting like a pathetic asshole and taunting man utd fans that they trash them in old trafford? and talk like they won the league
well done
still say your not sore loser.
your words don't match your action.

One bad habit Benitez has is that in every single match he will only make the first sub at around the 60th minute unless necessary (ie:injuries). He prefers to take the wait and see approach to see if his tactics working or not.
And i feel that Benitez has this mentality that they should "not lose" instead of this "win at all costs" mentality.
This is in contrast to other managers. I remember one time, when Chelsea were down 2-0, Mourinho brought on 3 subs straight at half time and changed the match.
I would say Benitez is not a risk taker, and like people always saying, High risk, high rewards.
They were playing well last season because of Alonso. Alonso has a gift, he can turn defence into attack instantly with one long pass, Lucas long passing cannot make it compared to Alonso, therefore there are many times when the counter attack option breaks down in midfield.

I shared the same emotions as you at that moment.
Man, now i think through the whole game, i couldn't recall any Chelsea player who played badly... There must be at least 2-3 contenders for man of the match. Besides Hilario, i felt that Drogba, Anelka, Deco, Ballack and Ivanovic played well too! Not forgetting captain marvel John Terry! Lampard was a little quiet though.

Now that u mentioned this, i suddenly recalled that many donkey years ago there's a club called QPR who beat United 4-1 at old trafford too...
Wow, this kind of once-in-a-decade event should be commemorated with a trophy and added to the trophy cabinets of clubs like QPR and Liverpool FC... fans and everyone linked to these two clubs should be so proud of themselves.
