Manchester United defender John O'Shea says Wayne Rooney has taken his game to a new level because he's discovered a selfish streak.
Rooney, 23, has responded with six league goals for the Red Devils plus nine in eight World Cup qualifiers as the Three Lions' booked their place in South Africa.
O'Shea said: "You know you are guaranteed the effort but we have wanted him to be more selfish when he gets the chance.
"He really is world class and strikes fear into defenders because they know his attitude and his desire. It makes us glad he's on our side."
haha he has a lot of potential still and he needs to do more to be a world footballer of the year. he's only 22? well so he's got plenty of time.
maybe, he should take more from nani and welbeck!!!
but he still has to learn to control his temper -_-"
