well... Lets give Rafa some credit for winning the champions league way back in 2005. I have also seen Liverpool played really well, especially last season which we missed out on the title due to a few agonising draws. However his transfer policy is questionable as well. The bpl is a very tough league and that perhaps rafa has reached his limits. Sad to say there are too few candidates which I can think of who can be better than Rafa. The only person i can think of as big enough is mourinho.

jose can.
but need change owners to arabs or saudi first lor.
in Rafa we trust .....
it's weird to see some liverpool fans still having high hopes for their team when it's 100% evident that other teams are catching up and have a chance of beating them on their own turf, Anfield.
Give yourselves a break, lower your expectations, and if you happen to see liverpool losing at half time, switch to Barcelona

There was a lot of luck involved though in that win. They were 3-0 up remember and Milan got complacent and totally let go of the accelerator.
Just like in 1999, i remember when Bayern were leading the match 1-0 and the time almost up, their midfielder Mario Basler and some others took his own sweet time and even went to chat up with the fans.

why do we have to lower our expectations? LFC is not some mid-table team....
my heart aches whenever i see liverpool lose, which inadvertently affects my sleep, i learnt that being a realist helps us to prepare for the worst at times.

it pains me too...especially when i see lucas' blur face when he gt the ball n dunno wat to do with the ball :(
Lucas has his good points though.
It is just that Liverpool requires someone like Alonso who is good at long passes, which Lucas is not.
Besides he is still young.

i've been slamming the team since years ago, and this season is one of the worse.
switching aint my cup of tea, but i wont be happy staying on either.

lol sorry use wrong example =X
As much as I complained about Liverpool, I still support it even if it loses cos it did not play well.
That is the reality about Liverpool - full of surprises.
When you expected them to win, they lose.
When you expected them to lose, they win.
Take a lot of heart to support Liverpool cos it is special.
As for Ah Ben, this should be his final season.
If he cannot deliver with what he bought, he will not deliver even given better players.
If he cannot see what a novice soccer fan or choose not to see, then he is harming Liverpool with his super big ego.

he gt quite an ego....he quited valencia when he didn't get wat he wanted...
he should quit liverpool asap
I know Ah Ben have a ego problem.
It is strange why he is not quitting even given such lousy resources to fill up the squad.
Maybe he want to prove that he can clinched the BPL title before he moved on.
But, his ego is the obstacle for Liverpool in clinching the title.
It is for the prayers of the fans and the new bosses to replace him.
Strange enough, the rest of the fans still have a lot of faith in him due to last season near miss.
I guess I have half of a season to wait for a miracle before the green tube turn red pipe.
Dun want to be a paying ego victim between the green and red.

Maybe he tinks that he will outlive the owners at the club?
liverpool can win major tittle. as long as they change rafa benitez. gerrard is aging, and he havnt win EPL? i like gerrard as england's player. but he is missing the EPL tittle. sad isnt it?
rafa benitez is good in europe football, not in the EPL.
arsenal and man utd are still more successful in terms of team management, under the two best manager in modern day soccer, arsene wenger and sir alex ferguson. look at arsenal's and man utd's youth player.
there are always victim on every team.
liverpool - lucas
arsenal - diaby
man utd - foster
