The wife of Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar admits major club offers are arriving for the Brazilian.
Manchester United were linked with a January bid for Julio Cesar last weekend.
“It has been an exhilarating week. My son turned seven and my husband has been bombarded by offers from a big club, so this makes us happy,” Susana Werner wrote on her personal blog.
“Clearly we have no intention of leaving Milan, but in football anything can happen. I hope Inter realise how much my husband is worth and what he deserves so that he is not tempted to play elsewhere.”
For his part, Julio Cesar said from Brazil: “I deny everything.
“I have a contract with Inter.”
The agent of Julio Cesar has confirmed the interest of Manchester United in the goalkeeper.
"United showed their interest for Julio but until now have not made an official offer," he said. "At the moment we are talking with Inter to renew Julio's contract, but we have not yet arrived at an agreement.
"I hope to succeed before the end of the month, that's my aim."
Julio Cesar's wife, Susana Werner, claimed on Tuesday he was being courted by one of the European greats.
"It's been a week of great emotions," she wrote on her blog. "My son celebrated his seventh birthday, while my husband was besieged by offers from a big club and that has made us happy.
"We don't intend to leave Milan but anything can happen in football."
