Former England defender Sol Campbell could be on his way to Italy in January to play for Juventus, according to reports.
The 35-year-old, who made more than 250 league appearances for Tottenham Hotspur before making a highly controversial move to the club's arch-rivals Arsenal, is currently looking for a new club after leaving League Two Notts County.
Campbell, who shocked the football world by signing a five-year contract with the Magpies, featured just once before walking out, claiming the newly-taken over Meadow Lane outfit had not fulfilled promises made to him when he agreed to put pen to paper.
Despite leaving County, he has yet to be officially released from his contract, and is hoping to train with former club Arsenal in the meantime in order to improve his fitness levels.
The powerful stopper, who has 73 caps for England, was linked with moves to Aston Villa, Everton and Newcastle prior to signing for County, and has been tipped to join Hull City, Wolves and former club Portsmouth since his premature departure from the basement division outfit.
But, according to Tuttosport, Campbell's next port of call could be Serie A, with Turin giants Juventus considering a pay-as-you-play deal for the defender to help them deny Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan another league title.
However, reports in England claim that Championship high-fliers West Bromwich Albion are keen on acquiring the experienced centre-back to assist their bid to bounce straight back into the Premier League following last season's demotion from the top-flight.
