if no CL next season, then sell mascherano to barcelona for 30m pounds lor and then sell babel for 10m. 40m to offset for not playing cl football. but the following season they need to be playing cl, if not they follow leeds route to bankruptcy.

but i tink, lucas is more of a gerrard's mould, as lucas' timing of tackle is not tt gd yet..he's only better pushing forward...

agree. even as a manutd fan i nv tink fletcher was gd until last season. as for lucas, he still needs time and that time is defintely not now.
The difference I guess is... When Fergie brought on Fletcher, he didn't played him week in, week out like what Lucas is doing now at Pool... It was like very slowly, first Carling cup, then started league matches but not every week, only to cover for Keane, Scholes, then finally Owen Hargreaves... In between, he still had Anderson to compete with... It was a slow process and when Owen got his serious injury last season, then he got more opportunities...
So how they are being used and brought in is quite a big difference...
