Liverpool today revealed the extent of the injuries sustained by Fernando Torres, Steven Gerrard and Yossi Benayoun against Reading last night.

A Club spokesman said: "Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres both underwent scans earlier today after coming off in the FA Cup tie against Reading.

"Steven has a hamstring strain and will be out for a fortnight, while Fernando has torn a cartilage in his right knee. The injury will require surgery and he is expected to be sidelined for six weeks.

"Yossi Benayoun also suffered a fractured rib in the game and will be unavailable for between three and four weeks."

I think Pool need to revamp the side at the end of the season... And it may not be a bad time to cash in on Gerrard now before he becomes worthless... Cos he is becoming injurying prone. The money can be used to bring in one or two younger midfielders...

The midfield look kinda too "lightweight" for Rafa's liking. He will probably play Mascherano ahead of Ahgualilly (again) if he's fit, and start with another joker instead of Maxi Rodriguez.

Masch and Aquilani needs to start, while Kuyt n Ngog needs to partner upfront. Lucas should do much better warming the bench instead of our hearts on the field. And perhaps an expedited horse placenta treatment for Gerrard pls.

An epic failure of a season, salvagable only with a top 4 finish and the Europa title, very disappointing but I'll still hold my head up high knowing true Liv fans hold their heads high no matter the occasion. Unlike some fairweather local supporters who are quick to 'troll' around forums whenever things go sour.

Wait, are these fans worthy of being called a supporter?

But, the "good" players that he playing with now are all bought by Ah Ben.
