Stupid tactic
making the same mistake as 1st leg
Defend one goal lead. Already cannot defend 1 goal lead with 11 men, now want to defend with 10 men.
fucking stupid. deserve to lose.

Rafael did well early on to mark out Ribery, but then his youth angst and inexperience made him lose his cool and resulted in his sending off. BM was always looking to exploit this weakness and force the red card.

united self destruct in both legs. they were leading 1-0 ay bayern when gary neville used his hand and bayern scored. last min evra was dilly dallying and olic scored.
return leg, defence sleeping and carrick as usual, weak in challengers and olic scored after carrick slipped. second goal bayern scored was the result of another carrick losing the ball in the middle of the field and bayern went on to score.
comsolation for united is they win this match but lose out on aggregate due to 2 away goals scored.

cb i saw replay for the second goal scored. carrick left his place at the far post to rush and block robben volley. again its carrick the culprit. but the main culprit is the young and naive rafael for being petulant and silly. get sent off early in the second half. I knew something was wrong when ref pulled out a yellow and then red. united doomed at that point as its bayern all the way and united tired after running and chasing the ball.
