New CSKA
Moscow winger Zoran
Tosic has slammed Manchester
United manager Sir
Alex Ferguson for not giving him a fair chance at the club.
The
Serbia World Cup 2010 player joined the Old Trafford outfit in January
2009 but only picked up five Premier League appearances before being
sold.
After impressing on loan at Cologne last term, he had
expected to be given a second chance, but this hope was dashed when a
reported fee of £8 million was agreed with the Russians, who made the
Champions League quarter-finals.
Speaking to the CSKA website,
Tosic expressed his frustration, saying: "I'm already 23, but Manchester
United didn't give me a chance to prove myself.
"Obviously, I'm
an athlete, I have ambition, but I want to show myself on the pitch, not
on the bench. That's the main reason I left.
"CSKA Moscow, in my
opinion, are quite a famous club, consistently playing in European
competition and fighting for the Russian League title."
