  Football is a team game. Singling any one player out as a flop will not be fair.

  As such, I'd pick England as the biggest flop.

  Rooney is the obvious flop if you want to choose.

  I don't understand why people say Torres is a flop just because he is not scoring goals. I thought he had some decent strikes against Portugal that were so dangerous but he did not score.

  If you remember the first goal of Spain vs Chilie, wasn't it Torres who was the one chasing for the ball upfront causing the GK to run forward and made the mistake of leaving his goalpost unguarded and Villa scoring from far range.

  ya Rooney failed to perform, but he didnt get any services at all. services to him is almost non existent and he sometimes have to drop deep to receive the ball.

  he is good, but of course not as good as messi or ronaldo lar. they are on a different level. I like him when he was a teen, with his bulging shoulder and skills lol.

  after watching all the spanish games i find villa much better than torres. not just because he scored and torres didnt.

  villa has better ball control, better vision and a great dribbler too.
