They look to be planning a ban on the plastic horns that set the tone for the World Cup.
Arsenal, Tottenham, Birmingham, Sunderland, Everton, West Ham and Fulham have all given the instrument the boot from their home games this season.
League bosses insist they will not impose a blanket ban and that it is down to every club to decide whether to allow them into grounds.
But with five more clubs joining Spurs in outlawing the trumpets yesterday, SunSport expects others to follow swiftly.
A statement from West Ham said: "Under current health and safety regulations, vuvuzelas could be considered a weapon and could also be considered to be an annoyance to others."
West Ham's South African striker Benni McCarthy said: "This is the Premier League, which is for singing and cheering your team on."
Take a look at the lady on the left of the screen as the next wave starts:
She knows it is about to happen - again. Her earplugs are bigger than my fingers so this is not her first 2010 match ...
... but she won't be in time, I fear. "Find a safe place, find a safe place" ...
She is getting the full force of it now and the look of horror on her face is what it must be like if someone has their ear canal removed with a spoon.
