Liverpool Face Anxious 48-Hour Wait To See If Lyon Enter Loic Remy Race - Report
Nice striker Loic Remy's bid to play in the Premier League hangs in the balance after his former club Lyon were told they have 48 hours to match any transfer bid, according to The Daily Mail.
Remy is reportedly wanted by Liverpool, West Ham and Arsenal, but Lyon hold a 15 per cent sell on clause for the player and also hold the first chance to match any accepted bid for the striker.
This will also be a blow for West ham chairman David Gold, who flew to France on Thursday to try and secure a deal for Remy.
Remy, who is only 23, has been compared to former Arsenal legend Theirry Henry. He managed to score 15 goals for Nice last season, catching the attention of a number of Europe's top sides. -
Ryan Babel was being compared with Thierry Henry as well. Stop chasing this guy Roy, instead give a chance to Babel and put him up on his preferred position. He may be come good next season.

From his action so far...I am not sure if he does not have power at all or just trying to be mr nice guy. Signing of Joe Cole, Torres problem with the club, not him...macherano not returning his call, etc.

it's not just about targeting fulham players, there are dozens of such players around!

Of course Roy got a say in transfer lah... He indicate which players he wants or don't want and Christian Purslow go to work on it like all the other CEO or Chairman does... Of course Pool got a chairman already in Martin Broughton but that guy is appointed by Hick and Gillett I think to look for a new owner while Purslow is put there by the RBS...
See like the Joe Cole deal. And also speaking to Gerrard and going to Spain to speak to Torres... All's Roy doing... And also calling Mascherano although that guy seems to be doing it on purpose and not wanting to speak to Roy at the moment until he manage to find a new club... Maybe he will start taking Roy's call and come back once no deal is finalize. But the way he is doing it, he is trying to pressure Pool into letting him go...
It's just ironic that Mascherano is doing this to Pool right now... Like once what Barry did to Villa... Both the same and Rafa having a major say on them...
