According to the News of the World, City are prepared
to allow the former Arsenal targetman to leave if a permanent deal can
be done with either of the Serie A giants Juve or Milan.
Adebayor
has his agent scouting Europe for potential destinations, but his
£130,000-a-week wages are making loan deals the most viable option, with
an ambitious bid believed to be on the table from Olympique Marseille.
The
Togo international has been told if he stays at City he is likely to
play next season, but boss Roberto Mancini desperately needs to cut down
his 38-man squad to comply with new Premier League regulations that
allow a maximum of 25 players.
The 26-year-old cost £25 million
last summer and so far there has been no interest from English clubs for
the striker who scored just 14 goals.
The Eastlands club are
expected to announce the signing of Inter Milan striker Mario Balotelli
this week, which would see Adebayor fall down the pecking order.
haha.
arsenal seldom sold player that player better when they were at arsenal.
Henry, Petit, flamini, Helb, adebayor, lunjberg, pires, vieira, edu, adebayor.
with the exception of matthew upson and one that currently playing for spurs( cant remember his name).
cesc, do you hear me? i cant seem to understand how you can fit into the barca first team lineup, not unless, xavi, ininesta retuired.
ownt.. but man city should keep him, they dont have a big and tall striker like adebayor..
I doubt City will let him go cos they only have Tevez and lets say they manage to sign that Italian kid... Then they would still only have 2 strikers if the likes of Bellamy - seen as a problem player, Jo - not wanted back, Robinho - don't want to return, and Santa - Almost leaving...
Unless City gets Torres or something, it's hard to imagine them with abundance in wealth going into the season with only 3 established strikers... Cos even 4 shouldn't be a problem for them...

There's been a lot recently...fabrice muamba, seb larsson, bentley, sidwell but the best example of playing better than when at arsenal is gio van bronckhorst...
Hmm Overmars and Berkamp?
Lolx last season he so hao lian

bellamy, santa cruz, adebayor, tevez, robinho
with the inter milan kid almost certain to join. they will have 6 strikers.
i think man city will unload 2. adebayor and santa cruz.

with the exception of van bronckhorst, the rest are hardly first team players on a regular basis at arsenal. when should they all come back to arsenal, they dont hardly will play first XI at arsenal.
Van Bronchorst was transfer because ashley cole is coming up. ashley cole was sold because clichy was coming up, clichy could be sold because Gibbs are coming up.

yes u are right..the position he play in is taken by xavi..if die die want to put him in first team..then maybe skinny busquet need to come out.
or change of formation?
Emmanuel Adebayor has issed a come and get me plea to Juventus as his Manchester City future comes under a full-scale attack.
Having
been told he can leave the club, with Mario Balotelli's arrival from
Inter looking possible despite questions over wage demands, Adebayor is
hoping Juventus stitch together a plan to rescue him from the brink at
Eastlands.
There has been no official confirmation from City that their man is on the transfer market, but his words suggest he will leave.
"Juventus are a great club in which I would like to play," he told Tuttosport.
"Until
some time ago I would not have accepted a transfer to other clubs. I
wanted to wear the City shirt and have a better season compared to last
year, but I know there will not be many chances for me and so I am
considering the many offers I have received.
"I am sorry to leave the Premier League, but in Europe there are other top leagues."
Juventus
have been linked with the striker after general director Giuseppe
Marotta closed the door on Wolfsburg hitman Edin Dzeko after learning
the Germans won't lower their €40 million demands.
He wan go Europa League meet Man City for revenge is it
how ar... season starting.. MC havent offload their players

yes bro, i agree your comment. busquet is actually defensive mid player. That is why Yaya was sold. fabregas is creative kind of player. replacing basquet with fabregas will unsettle the team balance. not a wise move.
haha
who told him to leave Aresenal when he was almost certain of a first team?

Maybe it's the $160k per week compare to the $60k a week he got paid ?
To be honest, like Joey said... It would be a no-brainer not to take the offer... lol.
