Liverpool Make Shock £8 Million Approach For West Ham United Talisman Scott Parker - Report
Liverpool are believed to have entered the race to sign West Ham United midfielder Scott Parker with an £8 million offer.

According to the Sunday Mirror, Anfield boss Roy Hodgson has pinpointed the former Chelsea man as the ideal replacement for Inter-bound Javier Mascherano, who is expected to leave in a £20m deal later this week.
Having rebuffed an offer for Parker from Tottenham Hotspur in the last seven days, Hammer's joint owner David Sullivan reiterated the club's stance on not selling their best players.
However, that has not stopped Spurs boss Harry Redknapp in his pursuit of Parker, and it appears Liverpool will now further test the resolve of the east London club.
Both clubs have already faced off against one another in a transfer tug-of-war this season over the Joe Cole saga, in which Liverpool allowed Spurs and Arsenal to make the running before stealing in to bag their man.
Meanwhile, the Upton Park club have been boosted by news that England shot-stopper Robert Green wants to stay at the club while defender Matthew Upson is likely to start talks over a new contract.
Although Parker is seen as a priority at Anfield, his services might not be required if Hodgson wins in his attempt to sign Juventus midfielder Christian Poulsen.
Such a move was given a boost recently after the Danish international's agent said it was an 'honour' to be linked with Liverpool.
Joern Bonnesen told reporters: "There has not been any contact and there is not much more than can be said until there has been, but we know there's an interest from them."
