New questions have been raised as to how far Zlatan Ibrahimovic's career at Barcelona will be preserved as Sport.es claims he has offered his services to Milan.
Despite
denials from Ibrahimovic, Pep Guardiola and Milan over a transfer, the
Catalan press report his agent Mino Raiola has been in secret contact
with Rossoneri president Silvio Berlusconi, who just two weeks ago said
he would not be afraid to land a mega star.
Ibrahimovic is said
to be fearing the emergence of David Villa at Camp Nou and feels it
would be hard to reconcile his relationship with a starting role,
despite guarantees from his coach that he is not leaving.
The
lure of joining Milan, who are set to fight for the Scudetto and
Champions League, and playing against former team Inter, appeals to the
Sweden striker.
Raiola has been addressing the questions at issue with Berlusconi and much of those relate to finances.
Milan
CEO Adriano Galliani last month said 'Ibra' was "too expensive" and
"earned too much" after he learned the player commands a €10 million per
annum wage deal.
But the constant change of moods and behavior,
as well as Ibrahimovic's long association with Serie A, could see the
bureaucratic wheels turning.
Both clubs are aware further
negotiations are delicate, but restoration work towards smooth talks
could lift the move off the ground.
