the usual suspects?
chelsea : definitely aging and with ancelotti hesitant with young talents, it's looking past the expiry date...playing more attractive footie but very leaky defence, made worse without cech...slow starters but usually see a strong surge mid season.
manu : most consistent team, blooded in a couple of young and fresh players, best looking team to win, remains to be seen if rooney implodes towards the end if fergie continues to build the team around him. always keeps good pace in the table standings throughout the season.
arsenal : still about the fast legs and youth, let's see if the boys have become men, quickest off the block season in season out but usually trails off the pace in the last third of the season.
spurs : hopefully they enjoy their brief moment in the champions league....enough said.
man city : let's see if the players can run rings around the other teams while clutching to their money bags...no real history to study here, just big names coming together for the first time....looks fierce on paper.... hopefully the big names don't have bigger egos.
liverpool : seems to be high on cole, especially gerrad. remains to be seen if cole is the whole season type of player or the one trick pony he is seen as....looking to be high on confidence and might start well but doubful as the season stretches...
anyone's guess? what's your odds?
My left eye on man utd, highest chance of winning. Right eye on liverpool, wanna see what ah roy can do
Nice write up... But Chelsea is still the team to beat for me... But i think Lotti never defended a title before so can he keep his players hungry?
And we might see a new Pool coming...
As for City, lets hope they do well enough...
On United, if Rio and Vidic stay fit long enough, should be amongst the top too...
Arsenal also have a good chance this year...
Spurs the least likely of them all...
I think wrong description about Chelsea?
Almost half of the oldies have already left, its like a new era of Chelsea.
Ballack, Belleti, Cavalhno, Deco all left.
Left with Drogba, Anelka, Lampard, Ferreira.
The usual 3 horses - Chelsea, Man Utd & Arsenal will likely tops the table. Liverpool (Dark one)?
Every year as mentioned was supposed to be "their year" to lift the EPL title... but ..? (if Joe Cole is better than Messi....)
i believe Man City has a better chance to make it to Champion League qualifying at the end of the season.
just my opinion.... should be placing some bets on Chelsea or Man Utd.
i will go for Man Utd even though im a Pool fan..
It's time to have a new champion.
Manchester City.

Not really... Of the 4 names that left, 3 were not important. Belletti, Carvalho and Deco hardly even played last season... Ballack was the only one more like a first team player... And this season, with the return of Essien (Which i rate very important to them)... They will be just as strong. Not to forget the big money Brazilians to come...
But as I said, Lotti have never successfully defended a league title before in his managerial career... So does he have that extra edge to keep his players hungry?
My top 5 prediction for 10/11 season
1. Man Utd
2. Arsenal
3. Man City
4. Chelsea
5. Liverpool
have to say this season is one of the toughest in recent years, where 'big 4s' dominate the league. thrown wide open by the likes of tottenham and city.
a sad case that martin left villa, if not i think villa will play a part to decide who will win the title next may.
im hoping liverpool to at least get a CL slot back, winning the title seem abit too far for us to reach, neverlesss, i suppose every single kop out there wishes to see the 19th asap.
i dont know what to expect for this season, a tough nut to crack.

im also a pool fan..
i guess the meaning of "asap" for us is "as slow as possible" lah, haha..
nonetheless, i only hope they can at least get a champion league spot for this upcoming season..
else we can see players like Torres/Gerrard leaving..
