Carlos Tevez: I'm unhappy after World Cup hell and I'm looking forward to leaving Europe
Carlos Tevez admits he has fallen out of love with football and considered quitting after Argentina's World Cup disappointment.
On the eve of the Manchester City's big Barclays Premier League kick-off against Tottenham, the striker suggested he was only staying in the game to support his family and looked forward to retiring in 'two or three years'.
The 26-year-old has four years left on his Eastlands deal, but being separated from his daughters has been difficult to take.

'For the last year I haven't lived with my daughters, they are growing up and I'm getting worn down.
'After returning from South Africa I though about quitting football, but I have a large family and now I have to continue.
'Football doesn't make me happy or as fulfilled as before. It becomes difficult to play like this,' he said.
Tevez is struggling to get over the disappointment of Argentina crashing out of the World Cup to Germany in a humbling 4-0 quarter-final defeat.

'I was convinced (we would win),' he said. 'I dreamed about winning the World Cuo up, getting back to Argentina with it, it's all I thought about. Losing hit me really badly. It's the hardest thing I've experienced in football.
'I have less and less will to carry on in Europe. I'll be here two or three more years and then I'll go back (home).
'There is only a little time remaining before I retire. It is very difficult to play football if you are not happy.'
