Avram Grant has three games to save his job at West Ham United.
The Sunday Mirror says the Hammers are pointless and bottom of the Premier League after their opening three matches of the new campaign.
It has led to growing unrest among supporters who are fast running out of patience with Grant, who was appointed on a four year contract in June.
Co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold are also targets for the fans’ fury.
The West Ham fans’ internet message boards are laden with criticism and furious fans are bombarding radio stations.
Grant, who resigned from relegated Portsmouth at the end of last season, has become agitated by West Ham’s failure to sign key players.
As the transfer window closed last week he claimed the Hammers’ financial position put paid to several proposed deals at the last minute.
After inheriting a spendthrift club following the days of Icelandic ownership, the Gold-Sullivan hierarchy have insisted on bringing a hard-headed business approach.
But it’s likely to be the Israeli coach’s head on the block if the club fail to get points and goals in their next three fixtures.
And even though his contract runs to 2014, there is a specified pay-off within the deal.
The next visitors to Upton Park are free-scoring Premier League leaders Chelsea, followed by a tough trip to Stoke. They then face Sunderland in the Carling Cup before the visit of Tottenham on September 25.
I don't know what they saw in him anyway.

Well, Grant did beat Mourinho for the fact that he led Chelsea to a Champions League Finals.
he's lucky in chelsea cos he inherited a great mourinho squad. I dun think he cuts it.
Well, with the problem WH have at the moment, not giving him any funds to buy players and still tried to sell whatever he have left over there... It's almost an impossible task. The fixtures also isn't kind to him... I guess if you put any other guy in there or Zola remain, the result would still be the same. Anyway, it's still very early to let him go... It would be a very silly move. WH's season will only start in Oct... If he stays, I belief WH's chance of falling out is very slim...
west ham sucks in the first place.
their striker always misses penalty.
the coaches only go there earn free salary $ then get sacked and get another big pay-off.
dun be surprise if west ham win the next game againist chelsea :D is always difficult to play away after international break.

Ya lor, even more surprising that they all mysteriously got injured before the International Break with Terry and Drogba completing a full 90 minutes against Stoke while Lampard, Essien and Anelka played at least 3/4 of the match.
maybe they party everyday? haha become like ronaldihno or sol campbell :D

tt's passing judgement without basis.
what you are saying is you or radojko avramovic can take over chelsea then and do as well? cut him some slack.
on the same token, whu has been heading south, football wise in the last 2 seasons.
