Zlatan Ibrahimovic comes back to haunt Inter
AC Milan returned to the top of Serie A with a 1-0 victory over city rivals Inter in the 275th Derby della Madonnina at the San Siro.
The result takes Milan back to the top of the table above Lazio and leaves Inter six points adrift in fifth.
haha benitez working his magic there i see.
nobody in the right mind would hire that guy
He seems to be having a better relationship with the Italian press than the special one.
Maybe he put on a low profile or the italian like him more.
He will be asking for more transfer in Jan 2011 and we will see how he can manage.
so what did Rafa blame this time round for the defeat ???
the grass on the pitch not green enough ?
the football not round enough ?
half his players got pre-menstrual syndrome ??
wa a penalty save milan

Zlatan Ibrahimovic comes back to haunt Inter
Rafa Benitez's Inter side have come under fire from Nerazzurri president Massimo Moratti following their 1-0 defeat to AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina.
Moratti expressed his dissatisfaction with the performance of the team straight after the final whistle, claiming they never turned up to contest the match.
"I did not like it at all, as we didn't do enough to deserve to win," Moratti said as he left the San Siro. "It seems difficult to move forward playing like this.
"It doesn't seem to me like we suffered against Milan's play. The problem is that we actually didn't play. It's a different thing entirely and much more grave.
"I didn't like anything. One can understand losing a derby, but this time I didn't like the approach or the aftermath. We didn't do enough to think about winning. This won't do at all. It was an ugly game and we did nothing because we became different."
The derby defeat is the treble-winners' first loss at home in Serie A since March 2008 but with Inter six points off top spot Benitez has hinted that he needs new players in the January transfer window to bolster his squad.
"It is obvious that in January we will need something, but for now we need to get a win," Benitez said. "Who could arrive in the next transfer window? All the players expect someone of quality to maintain the level of the side, a side that in the past season won a lot and therefore got tired and has struggled to start again.''
The only worry for Milan is consistency (sometimes with weaker teams either draw or else just like they got for past few seasons), but with Inter Old boy current form, he can outcover Milan's 'old' defence. Hope Milan can work out on the flaws so as to keep consistency & win glory.
typical rafa who refuse to blame himself but keep insisting his squad is not good enuff.
dont forget this team he inherited won the UCL, Seria A and local cup last year.
this show he is not a good manager.
his resolve to defeat is to buy new player.
haha rafa, what was he thinking. Going to team right after they have won everything. Big shoes to fill. This would never have happened under mourinho.
Star-studded squad = Not a good manager = downfall.....
buy player in jan? better dont. he tends to buy flop!!
