yes chelsea needs tevez. drogba probably has only a year or two left in him, anelka should retire in jan
I don't mind having tevez in Chelsea, but i really don't want to see Chelsea spending massive amounts of money anymore.
I want to see the likes of Sturridge given the chance, but i don't know why Ancelotti doesn't seem to trust youngsters, maybe its the old italian mentality of only trusting those old and experienced ones.
Tevez won't be cheap.
His wages is crazily high...
The worst I feel is that he might just disrupt team harmony.
Unhappy Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has not ruled out the possibility of staying in the Premier League, according to reports.
With rumours circulating that the Argentine would prefer a move abroad to Spain or back home, a source close to Tevez reportedly revealed that he would consider staying in England with a possible move to Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea or Arsenal.
Roberto Mancini is set to have talks with the disgruntled striker after the Europa League match against Juventus this week but a different vibe is coming from an Argentine journalist.
"Carlos is unhappy with Manchester City and some of the relationships in the club - he is not unhappy with England, with the Premier League," she said.
"He says he is tired, he is mentally and physically tired, but the impression he gives is that he will not give up football - and his motivation is not money.
"Carlos will join another club, and although Spain offers him another option - one where his family may be prepared to move nearer to him - he could stay in England."
Tevez's reported salary of £286,000 a week — after tax — would no doubt prove to be a hard obstacle to overcome for any club interested in his signature.
However, reports suggest that he would be willing take a massive pay cut to move to a club that would facilitate his needs.
Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea can all offer him Champions League football, plus Tevez himself admitted that he prefers life in London to Manchester.
Liverpool is also another option for him as he is a keen admirer of their history and international team-mate Javier Mascherano reportedly gave him a glowing reference of the club.
this guy has a pretty volatile temper. no matter what your manager does, you don't diss him in front of the whole world, no matter how pumped one's adrenalin is during or after the match.
I wished man u could have kept him but it seems fergie had his reasons as well. He openly goaded fergie a few times when it was apparent that he may not be bought from his loan spell. Example was how after scoring one goal, ran to the united bench, he put his hands on his ears, gesturing to the crowd to cheer for him, doing all that in front of the gaffer.
i think chelsea need to sign tevez. anelka and kalou cant make it. once drogba retires its too late.
I though he said he wanted to return to Argentina to enjoy being around his family?? Now he want to oin another PL club

this puzzles me too.. it seems his primary reason for quitting is like shifting goal posts leh.. one min, family, then wages, then another PL club.
Is it Tevez or Kia that is planning all these??
Smart of MUFC to wash their hands, but if Chelsea want to try, go ahead. perhaps they may have better people management.
