  wah, nothing close to those pics you've posted.

  anyway, my monitor is Samsung SyncMaster 753DFX..

  the only thing i've done was to get a brand new cpu as my previous one called it a day as it can't even power up the comp..

  last thing. Switch off your computer.

  then leave monitor on - no signal should be seen.

  see if the no signal is clear anot, got any thing that is similar in the picture.

  ok, suddenly i become noob - to switch off the comp & leave the monitor on, i juz press the button on the cpu..

  shut down also can be problem such as your settings - power settings, hibernation, standby after dunno what time ect.

  1) power schemes: Home/Office desk

  2) turn off monitor: After 20 mins

  3) turn of hard disks: never

  4) system standby: never

  btw, wats afk..
