no.it wont.
if the spkr run on its own bat, then u can amp up the spkr and lower the mp3 vol, which will save the mp3's batt. if the spkr isnt run by batt then gd luck to u.. the mp3 will have to be pushed hard to actually make it audible...

depends...the ones with batt are heavier, but clearer, the ones w/o batt will be lighter but much softer and a lot of distortion due to the mp3 amp chip under load.

challenger isnt a place to look for gd deals la, srsly.
gd deals go to sls. confirm got alot of shopsthere selling random stuff. spkr confirm have.
i got cheaper alternatives for u
but the qn is, do u really need the batt function? if u ned batt this is the best choice i can give u. i audition it liao, the sound direction is a mess because its one speaker only.. but the sound quality is great. if u dun need the battery (portable) then u can settle for much cheaper wall socket altenatives..

i need a compact sized speakers which won't drain my mp3 battery & the reason for getting one is strictly for home use..
if I were to use my in-ear earphones, i can't hear if assuming my mum is calling me to help her with something..

id like to recommend MX5020 but it costs $151 at harvey norman.. im using one so i know its gd.. trust me when i say i owned/tested a plethora of altec systems

Only 20 cm tall...and amongst the cheapest as far as I could see....so I took it without even bargaining although I could tell it could be even cheaper.When I brought it home, I was convinced it was one heck of a great buy. Sound quality is outstanding despite its small size. Of course surround sound is outta question lar...
