  depends on individuals. I believe that  each of the runescapers who are still playing have their own reasons for staying on.

  The showing of rankings really spur me to train. It gives me a sense of satisfaction seeing your character going up the long ranking ladder. Plus,  Runescape is one of the few games which I can play on my 5 year old computer.

  Yea its nice to see your rankings go up eh.

  However now I'm more towards the making money side. But indirectly, my wc rankings also going up.

  Personally, I'm playing because of the money and also cause of the 99 in skills..Like nice la to have lots of cape and saying 'My so-and-so level is 99.' hehe
