Porblem with MS

  Need some help from u folks here...
  
  Is it a must that I format my MS before I insert into my card reader? I am having this problem whereby my card reader cannot detect my MS after I put it into my PSP (after re-formating it and installing a game) ?
  
  Pls help me....

  you mean you try to format the MS with your PSP, then you wanna use your card reader to put in files? but your card reader cannot detect your MS?
  
  For me, i dun use card reader, i transfer via USB from my PC to PSP( with MS inside). you do not have the USB cable i presume?

  The scenario is when I put my MS into my card reader, it can't detect my MS unless I re-format my MS using my PSP. And this will happen again after I finish installing some games and putting the MS back into my PSP.
  
  I do not hv the USB cable. Where can I get it cheaply. Think it cost around $3+ only.

  The first case is that either your MS is causing the problem or your card reader. Try using a USB cable instead of card reader. I hate taking out the MS or even memory cards for my mobile phone. Taking it in and out will soon or later spoil it and loses it function. I'm not really sure about the price of the USB cable. But you can easily find it in any electronics store. Or even Popular Book stores. If you want to store files to your Psp, you will have to format your MS using your PSP itself and not using the card reader to format it. Hope this reply helps you to solve your problem.

  Is yr card above 1Gb? I usually get this prob for my 2/4/8gb Sony cards.
  
  Not all PCs though. Try using yr PSP to transfer files instaed.

  To those who uses card reader out there, please try to use a Data cable instead. It is because if you use card reader, you will have to constantly remove your MS and over a long term, the MS will spoil. Although a card reader is faster than data cable, its still the best recommendation to use data cable as it also cause less problems to you and your accessories. Thanks.
