if you mean PSP can play PS1 games? I heard its possible. I had a firend who somehow used a CD burning software called Alcohol and extracted a PS2 game int his PSP and its able to run without any stoppages. You can try doing it. I can't confirm with you on that. You will have to ask around. Thats what I heard from a friend who tried it. You can try it too if you have the time. Same things goes. any psp with firmware 3.xx can play ps1 games, though some games have bugs. most ps1 games should play on 3.40, latest one. i think if u rip the games yourself you need 3.40 oea. you can find more information on playing ps1 games on psp on google. search for terms like "eboot" "psxpsp" psx" (ps1 is more known as psx on most psp forums)
if u have the eboot and keys.bin file u can place them in a single folder, and place the folder in your mspd. PSP > GAME. place the folder in the GAME folder. if u dunno what im talking about better go search for more info -

sorry mistake... its all custom firmware 3.xx can play, not just 3.40oea. for ripping your ff7 i not very sure how to do, never read in depth cos not really needed for me =x

there actually a software call popstation to convert yr PS1 game to Eboot.
Then you can play!
