How to find out your WEP?

  im sure i have a wireless connection, when my mom uses her laptop, she gets a connection from my modem, and the modem gets an extra green light, anyway, does anyone know how to find out your wep?

  mine has "WEP:" but theres nothing after the wep, mine is starhub i think

  WEP/wifi doesn't depend on your ISP, it's your router. from your mum's laptop you should be able to find out the SSID. Password someone in your house should know, if not things might be a little difficult

  i found a wep, i went to control panel... but still says wrong leh

  normally the wep that is displayed after its been saved and everything will have a few digits less......futhurmore most of the time, when you want to press the text box, the number will disappear.......
  
  try going to run, type cmd which should lead you to a dos box
  
  then enter ipconfig and press enter
  
  scroll around to see......there should be a default gateway.....
  
  see the number and then go to your web browser to type the number.....
  
  around now a window which will prompt you on a password and username will appear.....
  
  if your mom didn't change the password than you are lucky if not then my "tutorial" is/was useless.....
  
  the username and password should be by default admin.......
  
  a reminder, you can only get the correct default gateway using your mom's com......becoz your com is not wireless unless it connects through the router instead of connecting directly to the modem
