Final Fantasy VII remake depends on Square Enix's schedule

Those who are still hoping for a Final Fantasy VII remake on their Sony PlayStation Portable units might be interested to know that Square Enix has not entirely closed its options on the matter.
In an interview that can be found in this month's edition of the publication Official PlayStation Magazine, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII director Hajime Tabata shared that a remake of the classic is still possible. He discussed:
I think it is because the conditions of the game have not been met at this point.
The possibility for a remake may become greater if, for instance, the schedules of the original members of the Final Fantasy VII development team, such as Kitase and Nomura, open up.
The two names Tabata mentioned were really vital in the making of FF VII. Yoshinori Kitase was the game's director and scenario writer while Tetsuya Nomura served as its character head designer. -

Too much trouble i think.
But i also agree that they should redo it on the PS3, since their PS3 sales are so pathetic and they will need some game to bring them up again.

hopefully we'll get to use cloud this time....
hopefully they really do make the game....dunno why many people dun take note of this?

they'll probably do it on the PSP.
i think PS3 will be for FFXIII and beyond.
but screw the rest, unless they give me a good story and proper turn based battle systems.

If they remake FF7, then soon fans will want them to remake 8 too. 9 as well since 9 was the easiest and the cheesy plot out of em all.

since ff7 has a "compilation" and its the most popular FF game amongst hardcore FF fans, it would only be obvious if they had a remake......

Imo, they should remake 9. Not many ppl liked 9, and it was a fallback from FF8 which is also one of the best FF out there.
From the cartoonish charcater to the storyplot to the difficulty challenge. Everything should be remade.

hmmmm
i see alot of ff fans got different taste out there.....
some say they like ff9 better whilst others hate ff8 becoz of its sci-finess and free mp......
i think all of them are good in the sense that they are unique in their own ways......
i love every single one of them except for ff6 and below becoz of the graphics......lol
