Hi I am new to PSP. would like to check with you guys for those Local set I can buy at around $290. Can the firmware to be modded to play download game? as those come with modded firmware selling at $350 and above which I felt not worth. Can someone advice.TQ

Is it Phat or Slim?
You can do the modding yourself but there is definitely danger involved...Eg. PSP bricking.If you bring a PSP to a local shop you can ask them to mod for you at a cost of $10-20, but for your case $60 for mod is way too ex!
Btw,PSP slim package is above $350 with mod.Phat shud be around $290?(not sure)

these days, slim(first hand) should be around 280-320.
fat psp, for first hand ones, you cant find them alr in singapore. 2nd hand ones, you still can find.
and modding a psp, is damn easy -.-
