  HMM, Back to topic ... erm .. since NCC(Singapore) has a overseas counterpart, NCC (India), and NPCC(Singapore) also has JPC (Hong Kong) ... will NCDCC Have any overseas links as well?
  But in the 1st place, are there any CD-related UYO elsewhere in the world ??

  Yes, the Civil Aid Service (CAS) in Hong Kong.

  Well, the first few people who will sign up will sure be those who are keen to be future fireman! haha! Besides that, the fire engines and those fire fighting stuff will attract them.

  for NCDCC... when there is a recruitment, usually we get help from the headquarters for the posters and other stuff as well....
  
  not only that... we also have a very strong support from the SCDF on the recruitment day... they set up everything for you in the school as well as bring in their vehicles when they can...
  
  its just a matter of coming to enjoy the show and learn about the CD knowledge as well... this helps to up the stakes of getting more people to join...
  
  but you dun have to worry about the safety of the kids because the officers there have already taken lots of safety precautions and measures...
