er if u are 70, the gold reward is higher. if not u get lesser gold+exp, the exp is actually very high also, about 10k per kill, so if u are <70 then it's easy 50k exp for you. it's actually a chain series of 5 boss(or 4, i forgot). each boss kill nets me 12-15g and u get a nice blue weapon at the completion of the final boss kill.

And it's a very fast quest
I spent more time handing in the quest (coz so many ppl queuing up to hand in) than doing the quest itself -
Btw for the V'day quests is there one that gives a mini flying cupid reward as a pet

Gold is much easier at 70. Quests nett 11g+. Some of these quest is like, walk here and talk to him to get 11g. Hehehe.
I died alot recently while doing a few quests, esp on Netherstorm. Spawn rate too fast.
I also upgraded both my 1h weapons to 71+ dps weapons. Woot..code:Warp Splinter's Thorn

Ya, I have now managed to gather a decent tanking set to handle all the 5 mans, non-heroic mode. 1st time I managed to break to 12k hp mark unbuffed lol. -

not to mention he is buying gear off AH too. dun understand why he cannot just be "sui bian" abt gear. i only wear quests rewards and stuff that drops for me.

Which is the 25 men instance and do you need to attune yourself to it?
I'm getting attuned for Kara now and it's a real pain in the ass.
Still need to go to Black Morass

it's the 25men instance at tempest keep called The Eye. you have to complete certain dungeons in HEROIC mode, and amongst them is Shadowlabs and Arcatraz. Also has to kill Magtheridon which so far i've only heard of 1 guild able to.
good luck with the karazhan keying, it's quite a huge pain i agree, and Black Morass will take some getting used to. in a way it's good since u'll know who are the better/worse players just by running this instance. but having a pally to mainheal in Black Morass + Blessing of Salvation do make this fight alot more doable, better than a priest actually.
currently we're learning the encounters in Karazhan, certain boss (Curator and Moroes) fights are pretty demanding and if u bring subpar dps players it's going to be real hard :p 12 bosses in Karazhan but quite a few (i think 4?) are optional. the opera event is really fun, and for our first try we got the Big Bad Wolf (and little red riding hood) fight. quite simple but a very hilarious encounter.Originally posted by elindra:Ok nub question

Yeah I agree. You cannot be a mediocre player in the BC instances. These instances just make bad players look worse than they really are.
(Already there is drama in our guild... anyway the guy in the end left the guild on his own accord but regrets it and is pestering all the officers everyday that a few of them have already put him on /ignore) -
Previously I ran with one of the MT's of a guild that I am friendly with in Shadow Labs. He worked everything fine up till the last boss.
He just sucked. I told him he didn't know how to tank the boss. He just kept standing there eating the Sonic Boom, and telling the priest to continually heal him. Everytime he gets hit by Sonic Boom, his hp would drop to 4-6%.
I told him to move in and out quickly, but he's a fool. He tried, but always too slow to react. After wiping 4 times, I said I'll tank it. Needless to say he died again as a dps'er as he couldn't move fast enough and we completed it fine with me tanking.
You can keep the tank up to eat Sonic Boom if you have 2 healers. But with only one, he's trying to kill the group.
What a f'king nub. To think that he could MT parts of Naxx previously.
I guess BC really weeds out the nubs.

Yeah BC shows all the nubs and it makes them look even more stupid.

And he can't play a mage for nuts!!!
That time I quest with him until I vomit blood and he just told me last week he just learnt what is Ice Armor for

Don't even talk about his lvl 70 priest. A feral druid complained to me that in one instance when he was the priest along, the druid was both MT and MH -
wait til you guys try out the heroic dungeons. some of the mobs are just retarded and hits tanks for 8k damage. even Karazhan trash mobs ain't this unreasonable. blizz basically doubled the damage and hp of some trashs and bosses and call it "heroic mode".

The felguards in Shadow Lab already have hit points of mini boss and hits hard. I think they can one shot me if it crits
So in heroic dungeon, it can one shot me without crits
