Drop rate of motes are zzzzzzzzz -
maybe u may want to farm gold and then just buy the primal mights for your spellstrike set. i normally farm the bloodelfs along the slope of the entrance to black temple. the signet and tome droprate is quite decent.
in about an hour i can get 3-5 tomes and 40+ signets. that's 100+g just from selling this 2 items alone. add in the green drops and the cash i'll say it's quite a healthy 150+g per hour. probably easier than farming for 50 motes to make 1 might and u dun have to fly all over the continent. -

1 Blue Gem Crafting Recipe
I didn't keep track of the gold I earned

ooh nice blue JC recipe. i got 1 from there before too but it didnt fetch me much :/
did gruul last night, but kept wiping at 20% and he was at 11-12 stacks of the enlargement or whatever u call that usually. the mages kept dying off early for some weird reason T__T we didnt flask the dps though. got a couple of weak dpsers in the raid too. hopefully can down him w/o flasking when more uni kids come back from their exams :/ -

hammer of naaru dropped for us from high king, what a nice dps mace, 111dps. it looks exactly like the one in the cinematic also
and yeah...our mages need some spanking. GM is a mage and he quite sad about his mages also lol. i told him to flask them and he say no point if they kept dying early :p -

For our side if mages drop below #6 in dps they will kenna fuk like no tomorrow.
Btw how r yr mages spec? -
all of our main mages are fire except for 1 specced ice. i think only 1 is scorch build specifically, the one that i linked the profile earlier, the rest of the mages are deep fire, with dragonbreath. ice mage dps is very poor as expected but we don't usually force specs onto players.
we had 2 shadowpriests dpsing last night also, so they were stacking the shadow debuff pretty quickly. that also meant shadow based locks topped the meters easily. my dots were ticking from 700+, and drainlife was healing me for 800+ per tick when i needed to heal myself. the fire mages will do alot better, when they learn to stay alive ><Originally posted by elindra:Yeah I know prince have a similar one

As you can see, I have the worst gear I dun think yr guild mages have worse gear then I do >< I had to get rid of my frost gear. My gear used to be heavily frost dependent

I mean to let you know how bad dps we have is as an Arcane/Frost mage for the last Gruul fight, I was still lilke 7/8 on the DPS list
Of coz I never kenna scolding coz I was frost and a girl but my ex-gm kept calling me up for a whole damn week everyday to ask me to respec and was telling me ya he understand i got my tailoring frost gear blah blah blah
Now the shitty thing is I need to redo my tailoring for Spell Fire set
I heard they are doing it on test server so that you can relearn yr specialization and not have to relearn talioring!!!
I sure hell dun wanna relearn coz of all my recipes!!! -

yeah u can change your tailor specs after patch for something like a 100g fee i think. applies to the alchemy specs also.
the mage that i linked before, virginheart, he's actually the guild's top dpser, along with another dw fury warrior pre tbc. now things changes a little :p
vh also dropped a profession to take up enchanting recently just for the 2 ring enchants. i LOL. this guy is serious business when it comes to maxing dps -

Yeah Mer is hardcore too. He dropped god knows what to get Tailoring and he leveled it up faster then I did
375 in 2 weeks with mats etc for his sets -

bought most of the cloths from AH. not so much of farming although the final 10 points in tailoring really painful in the pocket. took me abt another week or so before i made my 3 pieces of shadowweave gear though.
now i got another dilemma for my newly turned 70 green dual pony tailed gnome warrior. thinking of levelling blacksmith. that will be really painful. >.< -
