Not 100% sure, but from my trawling forums and looking up characters in BC, classes that got buffed up are warlocks, pallies and shamans. Rogues are kinda buffed, but not in totality. Mages pretty much are ok, but nothing to shout about, unless you are heavily fire spec, then you can kick some serious ass.
Pallies complaints are the usual, but overall I feel that they are kinda where they should be. The usual classes that pwn pallies are still the same - shammies and priests. The rest, any good pally equally geared should have a fair chance of beating. Not 100% easy, but a fair chance.
Warlocks are this time are totally hax. I'm not sure what's going with Bliz's mind. Warlocks can pwn any class with relative ease, from the looks of it.
Although shamans for some reason complain they are weak. I can't understand their gripe. I mean, shamans now with dual wield can hit harder than rogues easily, and they got heals + shocks. From my point of view, Shamans just got more bad-assed.
The class that got hit by the nerf bat the most are apparently warriors. The whining by warriors are by far the worse. I can almost see their reasons, but playing my 60 full fury spec warrior against 62 mobs did not make me feel any much poorer.
The only deal is, some classes have their 41 point talent kinda sucky, while sometimes have total pwnz0rship. -
For mages I think we win some and lose some
But what really sucks is that they nerfed what hurts the most
Like putting Improved CS on Global Cooldown
Reducing and making polymoprh useless in PvP
and nerfing our AOE big-time by putting a dmg cap
The other point I don't like is that they kinda force us to be more offensive or defensive
Fire is really raw power now but it's really burst dmg, for raids, I think they are going to die pretty much without ice block.
I think Bliz is kinda unfair to the fire mage in the sense that Dragon's Breathe and CoC share the same cooldown
I mean everyone can have CoC but Dragon's Breathe, you gotta invest 41 pts in yr talent tree for it!
I don't know, the shammies in my guild are whining about a huge nerf. I guess to each his own.
However, I really think they should nerf the warlock and hunter
OMG warlock is like now and hunter can now autoshoot when they get out of melee range when they are in combat and they can place traps in combat too Makes me feel like playing my hunter again ....but I wanna slack in instances (which is why I don't play hunter) -
Hunters are somewhat ok.
But Locks are OMGWTFHAX. -

Seriously, when I was Ret in beta with the un-nerfed ret tree which is on live now, I was raping mages 2 levels higher than me with ease. I raped every single class except warlocks before CS+vengeance was nerfed.
Man, I think tonite I cannot sleep. Crazy pvp with WoW friends. -

The patch notes that comes with the update patch has numerous changes to talent trees and shrinking down of oversized talent trees. But the patch itself is the patch which is from the very 1st beta. Expect alot of tweaks incoming the next few weeksOriginally posted by the_don:huhhh wat u mean -

I've seen locks b*tchslap every single class to oblivion with little effort. Seriously, that new 41 talent point fel warrior pet is hax. I've seen that pet kill a warrior without the lock doing anything at all. WTF! -
