However, off the top of my head, we use 3 mages and 3 locks. This is the aoe/frost nova team.
Positioning:
We tank Morogrim using a Feral Druid towards the tunnel leading to Fathom Lord.
2 sets of tanks, one set handle north murlocs, the other set, south murlocs. Both sets pull the murlocs towards the original spot where Morogrim spawns. Aoe/Frost Nova commences.
Make sure pallies are quick to BOP and watery grave pple need to be healed. If MT healers get graved, sound out and have standby healers take over.
That's about it off the top of my head, hope it works for you! -

So far I only played range DPS (Hunter & Mage)
I have a lvl 61 priest but I don't really enjoy playing her
Might just get her to 70 and just use her to make pots
Actually she is already making the pots I need so I'm totally not motivated to lvl her
I thought it will help if I upgraded her mount but am not interested
I wonder if I can get someone to just run me through instances and farm xp

We have more fire mages = more rolling ignites = more dps
Also more fire mages = more ppl can dps whil 1 person keep or all help keep scorch up -

that is sound advice. on our wipe night last week we started to have problems when mages get graved, i guess screwing up the nova rotations. furthermore, none of the mages are frost specced so we rely extensively on nova for snaring. 2 mages got graved=2 novas left. once we ran out of novas the murlocs just run around free hitting on 5-7 AOErs. we lasted maybe about 6-8 waves of murlocs before all the AOErs are down.
i suppose a prot pally is the obvious answer to rounding up the murlocs for easy AOEing but the RL is too resistant to the idea of having a pally tanking. i hope he takes to the idea of having tanks leading the 2 grps of murlocs to a aoe pit at least.Originally posted by Yvlaine:I need to know whats the issue causing your raid to die before being able to best give suggestions.

You know I have been running Kara ever since it started but I never seen it drop before

I just find it amazing that the whole guild really only have 2 mages.
I think Mal is happy there is another mage for him to talk too
I'm thinking of respeccing for scorch build so that I can make better use of my TLC and I can pvp too instead of deep fire, but my gear is not suitable for scorch build so I need more gear first
I talked to Frizz but he prefered to stay in TBD so that is really his choice.
Anyway last night was pretty strange
I'm not sure if the aggro meter was off coz I pulled aggro off Castell frequently even if I was like 4-5 lvls below him ><
Didn't have problems when mobs on Shiro though
I've not been dying for the past few runs but last night I died 6 times
Would be more but the healing saved my ass a few times -

i guess mal is enjoying the 'bullet train' n might not want to join the 'bus' for at least a while. but then if he already got most of his gear, u can ask to swap.. make sense mah
the funniest thing is we got 24 mages (estimate) that are in guild. more than priests, warr, lock, etc. but we only got 2 raiding mages... wat happened man hahaha
just let frizz be la. most impt is he finds a place he is happy in. still on same server mah, still can do stuff together. like last night our EOS run invited cenqeden's warrior, cap + others still v friendly with TBD/PLN.
humm castell... only raided with him once. ok la. so-so. drood does gain agro faster than war. but then again it depends on the war's skill. like vio vs T. Vio holds agro v well. T is good too but not as good as Vio.

Seriously I hardly see any of them on at all that I wonder if they they even exist!
Actually I think Alph is not bad just that he don't raid as frequently
I think for the warriors sometimes they get lazy and don't continue to build aggro (I dunno I never play a warrior before) so if I continue to dps my aggro will catch up like last night I scorch all the way also pull aggro

yesterday I was scorching and was like 5th and I pulled and died -
i think don't rely on KTM too much for the Nightbane fight, since after every landing his aggro is reset so KTM will not reflect that. bosses that have some kind of threat reducing moves also is mostly not reflected in KTM too.

And I use scorch but also pull aggro :O
I see my dps slide down the dps meters and still pull aggro

We dont really work on Frost Nova rotation to keep aggro off non-tanks. It relies too much on mages not being graved, or dead. Frost Nova is good for freezing them at a spot (aoe pit) for a short initial period. The warrior that holds aoe aggro best has Improved Thunderclap.
Yes, prot pallies work wonders here. We started our first few kills with a prot pally for one side of the murlocs. However, since then we've been able to do it with pure warriors for murloc tank teams.
Just make sure AoEers dont go psycho till 4-5 secs, allowing for tanks to grab and hold aggro well. The more the aoe, the lesser time spent on murlocs, the more the time on Morogrim. -

This seems weird to me, I thought SG forums was very well frequented and there are tons of WoW players in Singapore?
Guess that means few WoW players come to these forums or maybe they just cant be bothered to register to post, just like me previously. -

I dun think I can go through another fiasco -
gave up on morogrim, went to try al'ar instead.
the aoe is pretty much perfected, even if the pally tanks can't get initial aggro. but our healers for some reason just can't manage the damage spike and keep the mt alive on morogrim and we were just wasting too much time on this boss. will probably get back to morogrim last.
al'ar on the other hand... is more controllable. phase 2 down to 30% after a couple of wipes, should get it down once people stop being stupid and start to avoid the flame patches. otherwise, pretty sucky week. but yay i get my 2nd piece of Gladiator gear tonight.
