recently the gm has been tracking the raid performance by using this wow web stats. think it pulls data from his combat log and then charts the result. here's a sample report from our al'ar attempts last night.

it's pretty amazing and FUN to look at. everything is charted, for eg. the breakdown of spells and the damage done by each spell, even the number of ticks and hits. you can pretty much deduce a person's playstyle from the report and perhaps identify a certain dpser's weaknesses.
most importantly for us is that we can see what people died from most. -

the aoe is pretty much perfected, even if the pally tanks can't get initial aggro. but our healers for some reason just can't manage the damage spike and keep the mt alive on morogrim and we were just wasting too much time on this boss. will probably get back to morogrim last.
al'ar on the other hand... is more controllable. phase 2 down to 30% after a couple of wipes, should get it down once people stop being stupid and start to avoid the flame patches. otherwise, pretty sucky week. but yay i get my 2nd piece of Gladiator gear tonight.
Yeah, certain fights are very healer-intensive. Morogrim and Fathomlord are the 2 that i can think of in SSC alone.
To cope with the damage spike, try using a Feral Druid as MT instead. We find its much more manageable than with Warriors. -

Anyway, out of point here. Guild got a new mage and he sux -_-"
He is Arcane/Fire spec and does less dmg then the Arcane/Frost spec mage. I can never figure that out especially since he has better gear then the frost mage
(btw it's not only the dps that sux)

took us 2 weeks from this post just to kill Hydross and Tidewalker O_o

hmm actually was working on Fathomlord last night. best attempt we ever got to was 50+%... Felguard can come out and play again once i get the T5 2pc bonus ^^

If you got Fathomlord himself to 50%, its basically a matter of keeping dps alive, or getting dps to max out properly..
Maybe you have too many healers in the setup also, mana issues cld also be a factor for the mages/hunters. -
