The wait is over! MediaCorp's brand new Lunar New Year album, titled Qun Xing He Sui Jin Zhu Qing Feng Nian, is now out in stores! This year, SuperBand's winning group MiLu Bing, as well as Campus SuperStar's Ng Chee Yang, Teresa Tseng and Renfred Ng lend their voices to bring festive joy into your homes.
What is Lunar New Year without some bagua (barbequed pork slices), mandarin oranges, red packets and...Lunar New Year songs? To add to the festive mood, MediaCorp has launched its brand new Lunar New Year album, Qun Xing He Sui Jin Zhu Qing Feng Nian.
What's the deal? The album consists of 16 Lunar New Year songs, of which 13 are new songs. The most innovative and special song on the album is the title track, Qun Xing He Sui Jin Zhu Qing Feng Nian, which was recorded by various MediaCorp artistes. The lyrics are made up of auspicious Chinese greetings, lending a very festive feeling to the entire song.
The album boasts the vocals of big-name artistes like Zoe Tay and Fann Wong, fresh idols such as Elvin Ng and Dawn Yeoh, and also young stars like Campus SuperStar's Ng Chee Yang, Teresa Tseng and Renfred Ng. But what is special this year is that the boys from MiLu Bing also joined in the fun to record one song for the album.
