Justin Hoyte claims there is no extra pressure on his shoulders being only one of two English players in Arsenal's line-up.
Hoyte and Theo Walcott are The Gunners' only home-grown players following the departures of Sol Campbell and Ashley Cole last year.
The former Sunderland loanee believes the expectation to win consistently is pressure enough, regardless of nationality.
"I don't feel any pressure on my shoulders," he told Arsenal TV Online. "We're all here to do the same job, and that's win football matches.
"Whether the players are English or foreign, everyone who puts on an Arsenal shirt wants to perform for the club.
"You only realise who is foreign when players go away for international duty. The fans are fully behind me and Theo.
"We are English boys, so the fans back us fully and give us great support - as does the manager."
