Arsene Wenger has dismissed the suggestion that Bolton have become Arsenal's bogey team.
The Gunners drew 1-1 with Bolton in the fourth round of the FA Cup in January and travel to The Reebok Stadium for the replay on Wednesday.
Arsenal were knocked out of the FA Cup at Bolton last season and lost 3-1 there in the Premiership in November.
Wenger insists he has a lot of respect for Bolton and their style of play, which he maintains has a lot more variety than people credit them for.
However, Wenger is confident his side can progress past Bolton if they learn the lessons of their past encounters.
"If you look at recent results then, yes, Bolton have become a difficult team for us. But I don't experience it like that," said the Arsenal boss.
"They took advantage of our weak points every time, but overall I never look at any opponents as ever being a team we cannot be successful against.
"I just think if you do the right things then you win. You must give them credit, because in two results this season they beat us 3-1 up there and drew 1-1 at the Emirates.
"We had a very strong second half, and they were under a lot of pressure when we drew at home.
"That is what we want to do tonight. But they have changed - they are a lot more technical now."
Arsenal are unbeaten in their last ten games and Wenger believes it is crucial for his side not to lose momentum.
He urged: "We are just on a good run in 2007 and we want to keep that going. The dynamic interest of the team is to win, and we just want to keep that going.
"We don't really choose what kind of competition we are in. We just know that if we win we have another game on Saturday.
"So let's have another game on Saturday."
