Cesc Fabregas has apologised to Mark Hughes after rebuking the Blackburn Rovers boss for his team's style of play.
The Spanish midfielder became involved in a row with Hughes following a 0-0 draw between the two sides in their FA Cup fifth round fixture at Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
Hughes explained after the game how Fabregas asked him: 'Did you really play for Barcelona?', before the midfielder then stated that Blackburn's approach was a far cry from the stylish football embodied by the Catalan giants.
The Rovers boss subsequently called on Fabregas to show him more respect and, after cooling down, the Arsenal teenager visited the away dressing room in order to say sorry in person.
Now the young Spaniard - who earned his trade with Barca before joining Arsenal in 2003 - has explained his outburst stemmed from his frustration with his own performance at Emirates Stadium.
"I went to apologise," said Fabregas. "I get upset when I don't play well.
"I'm a young man and I have still got a lot to learn."

Mark Hughes also played for Manure and Chavski.
