Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor must now wait until Friday to state his case against a Football Association charge.
The 22-year-old denies a charge of "reacting aggressively and failing to leave the field of play immediately" after being sent off in the 2-1 Carling Cup final defeat to Chelsea in Cardiff on 25th February.
He was shown a red card during the game after a brawl broke out between the players and found himself in trouble after his reaction to the dismissal.
The Togo forward had unsuccessfully appealed against the decision and has been serving a domestic suspension.
Adebayor requested a personal hearing with a disciplinary commission which had been scheduled for Tuesday but has now been postponed to Friday.
